Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mihail Safin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom hudson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Safin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. hudson gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. hudson apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Horrible takedown by Safin or perhaps it was just good defense by hudson which made him look bad.

hudson bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
hudson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Tom hudson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well hudson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
