Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akira Morris!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morris scores with a jab.

It looks like Si Matapang has been cut.
Morris throws the left hand but Matapang avoids the punch easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Matapang is defended easily by Morris.
Morris lands with a nice body punch.
Matapang closes this distance looking for a takedown but Morris circles away.
Morris connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Matapang shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Morris but Morris pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Si Matapang. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Matapang is defended easily by Morris.
Morris lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Matapang circles away quickly and effectively.
Matapang moves out of range as Morris strikes.
Matapang shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Morris as he jumps to the side.

Oooooh!!! Morris has knocked Matapang down with a huge combo! Morris steps away and waves a wobbly Matapang back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Matapang is breathing heavily.

Matapang doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Akira Morris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morris throws a right and a left that Matapang avoids nicely.
Morris ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Matapang moves away.
Morris throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Matapang stumbling backwards into the cage! Matapang bounces back off the cage towards Morris, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Morris lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Morris celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
