Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Bowers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Potter is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 30 Seconds To Mars - The Fantasy. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Leandro Rodrigues and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bowers looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Bowers winds up and cracks Potter with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Potter tries to kick Bowers off but Bowers keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Some wild striking there from Potter.
Bowers tries to score a power double leg takedown but Potter sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bowers somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tommy Bowers. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Potter throws a right hand that Bowers ducks under and follows up with a left that Bowers also avoids with ease.
Michael Potter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bowers throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Potter's waist but Potter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bowers off to one side.

Potter throws a series of punches but Bowers avoids them all with ease.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bowers, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
