The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pavelic is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Cash Pocket has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Cash Pocket!

Cash Pocket drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Pavelic dives on top into guard.

Pavelic postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Cash Pocket is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pavelic, into his guard.

Pavelic has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Cash Pocket is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Pavelic.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Pavelic has his foot on Cash Pocket's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cash Pocket works his way back into a safe position though.

Pavelic working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cash Pocket doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cash Pocket manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Cash Pocket has his hands clasped together but Pavelic extends an breaks Cash Pocket's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Pavelic.
