Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Poppenstuff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damion Skye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Skye comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Never Gonna Stop - Rob Zombie kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poppenstuff works Skye's body with a nice hook.
Poppenstuff throws a right hand that Skye ducks under and follows up with a left that Skye also avoids with ease.

Skye works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A jab from Skye finds it's way through Poppenstuff's defenses.

Poppenstuff really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Skye feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Poppenstuff sprawling to the canvas! Poppenstuff rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Skye finish him?!

Skye ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Poppenstuff moves away.
Skye jabs Poppenstuff right on the nose. Poppenstuff blinks but takes it well.
Skye throws a jab when Poppenstuff was well out of range.
Skye connects with a stiff jab that staggers Poppenstuff - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Damion Skye! Damion Skye retains his bantamweight title!
