The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mana tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gracie looks for a takedown but Mana sprawls well.

Mana tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gracie paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Adriel Mana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Gracie counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Gracie throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mana works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Gracie postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Mana bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gracie's guard.
Mana knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.

Gracie pulls Mana in close to his closed guard and prevents Mana from doing any damage or advancing position.
Mana will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Mana wants to stand but Gracie has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Gracie pulls Mana in close to his closed guard and prevents Mana from doing any damage or advancing position.

Gracie is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Mana has his hands clasped together but Gracie extends an breaks Mana's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Gracie.
