Galt's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, My Way - Limp Bizkit. John Galt could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kamil Tomcik's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kamil Tomcik!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Galt decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Tomcik wants to improve his position but Galt is controlling well.
Galt is thwarting Tomcik's attempts to control the position.
Tomcik regains full guard. Nicely done.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Galt trying to control but Tomcik is working from the bottom.
Tomcik tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Galt working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Galt has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Galt has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tomcik can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Galt is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Tomcik defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Tomcik is trying to break free.
Galt is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Tomcik up.
Tomcik manages to reverse the position and now he's in Galt's guard. Nice work there by Tomcik.
Galt manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tomcik manages to get himself to full guard.

Galt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tomcik tries to avoid it but Galt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tomcik to the ground. Tomcik escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Galt is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tomcik is just riding it out for now. Galt eventually gives up the hold.

Tomcik really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Galt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Galt looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Tomcik!

Galt wants to finish this one by submission but Tomcik is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Galt.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Galt shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tomcik as he jumps to the side.
Galt avoids the head kick by Tomcik.
Galt shoots for a double leg takedown but Tomcik sprawls well. He's pushed Galt's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Tomcik lands with a kick to the temple. Galt shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Tomcik lands a head kick. Galt smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Galt tries for a takedown but Tomcik sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Tomcik keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Tomcik buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Tomcik is breathing heavily.
Tomcik stuffs the takedown.

Tomcik tries to land a front kick but Galt steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Galt closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Galt scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Tomcik to see if he's OK.

Galt tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Galt has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Tomcik is riding his opponent, not letting Galt buck him off.
Galt really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of Tomcik's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Oh Galt is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!


It looks like John Galt has been cut.
Galt is looking to clinch but Tomcik is avoiding it.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Tomcik! Galt is out on his feet! Tomcik rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Galt is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Galt is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kamil Tomcik!
