Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boon Baboon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renan Oliva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Oliva's choice of entrance music: Mc Yoshi - Meu guarda rou é um zoológico. Renan Oliva is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baboon tries to land a leg kick but Oliva saw it coming and moves away.
Oliva shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Baboon as he avoids it easily.

Baboon closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Oliva did well to prevent Baboon getting side control.

Baboon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Oliva is just riding it out for now. Baboon eventually gives up the hold.
Oliva slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Baboon stays in close to Oliva's body and controls the position.

Oliva trying to hold on to Baboon's head to control him but Baboon postures up.
Oliva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Baboon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Baboon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Oliva can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Baboon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Oliva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Baboon pushes a forearm under Oliva's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Oliva is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
