The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from King misses.
King throws a jab but it's blocked by Aomi.
King misses with a straight right.
King lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by King.
A jab lands there for King.
King listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Aomi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but King avoids it really well and circles away.
Aomi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as King sprawls well. King wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Aomi gets slowly back to his feet.
A looping hook to the body misses from King. Aomi does a little dance to reset his feet.
King scores with a hook to the body. Aomi takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Aomi takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Aomi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jab, jab by King - just one landing.
King avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A punch combination from King misses.
King takes a swing at Aomi's ribcage but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
King drops Aomi with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Aomi! King dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
