Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takeru Hendorisme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hendorisme has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Takeru Hendorisme looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takeru Hendorisme!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Scott closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hendorisme looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Scott wants to take a breather but Hendorisme is having none of it.
Scott lands with a punch from half guard.

That has opened up Takeru Hendorisme's cut even more.
Scott works his foot free and advances to mount.
Poor strikes thrown by Scott there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Scott cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The cut above Takeru Hendorisme's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Hendorisme is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hendorisme is in a horrible position here. Scott smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Takeru Hendorisme's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Takeru Hendorisme's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
