Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between jealous jarvae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez throws a series of punches but jarvae avoids them all with ease.
Hernandez throws a hook but jarvae blocks it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hernandez. jarvae does a little dance to reset his feet.

Hernandez chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before jarvae can pounce on him.

Hernandez ducks down and throws a hook to the body but jarvae moves away.
jarvae connects with a leg kick. Hernandez looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Sloppy strikes from Hernandez. Those never looked like landing.
jarvae fakes the leg kick and cracks Hernandez in the body.
Hernandez's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Hernandez throws the left hand but jarvae avoids the punch easily.
Hernandez scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Hernandez looks to throw the jab but jarvae is out of range.
Hernandez stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from jarvae.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

jarvae misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
