Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mac Elliot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elliot comes to the cage accompanied by I Don't Turn Down Fights: Here's Proof. Jay Jay has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mac Elliot!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jay Jay!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, William Gold and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elliot chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jay can pounce on him.
Elliot moves out of range of the body kick from Jay.
Nice uppercut there from Elliot.
Jay slips under a jab.
Jay throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Jay blocks a jab.
Jay lands a leg kick that knocks Elliot off balance momentarily.
Jay throws a nice outside leg kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Jay.
Elliot works the jab nicely.
Jay fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Elliot has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Jay swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Elliot slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Jay scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Elliot is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jay wants to pass the guard but Elliot is defending well.

Jay is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Elliot doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jay.

Jay creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Elliot's defenses.
Elliot has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Jay creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Elliot is trying to push Jay away but Jay has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Jay tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Elliot smiles and moves away.
Elliot loads up on a big right hand but Jay slips the punch.
Elliot tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Jay. Elliot shrugs it off though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Elliot's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Jay throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Elliot scores with a punch to the head.
Jay connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
A slapping leg kick lands for Jay.
Jay cracks the inside of Elliot's front leg.
Jay fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Jay misses the shot to the body.
Elliot is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Jay lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Jay Jay seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Jay throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Jay connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Jay gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Jay is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Elliot can't fight it off and eventually Jay manages to take the fight to the floor. Elliot looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Jay stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Elliot swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Jay Jay has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Jay ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Elliot moves away.

Some bone on bone action there as Jay checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Elliot is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

A head kick lands from Jay that sends Elliot to the canvas. Elliot tries to scramble back to his feet but Jay brings him back down into side control.


Elliot is rocked!
A big shot lands for Jay! That's hurt Elliot! Will he recover? Jay fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jay Jay! Jay Jay retains his middleweight title!
