Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Van Wilder!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smash Ya misses with a straight right.
Smash Ya lands a nice shot to the body.
Smash Ya uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wilder.
Smash Ya stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
It looks like Van Wilder has been cut.
Wilder cracks Smash Ya with a good jab.
Wilder lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Wilder gets tackled into the cage by Smash Ya. Smash Ya maintains the clinch.
Wilder tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Smash Ya's elbow.
Wilder breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Smash Ya slips a straight right by Wilder.
Wilder misses with a straight right.
A big left from Wilder misses.
Smash Ya misses with a wild body shot.
Smash Ya moves away from the strike by Wilder.
Smash Ya throws the left hand but Wilder avoids the punch easily.
Smash Ya throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wilder walks into a stiff left hand from Smash Ya.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wilder lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smash Ya circles away quickly and effectively.
Wilder throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Smash Ya.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Wilder lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Smash Ya has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Smash Ya and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smash Ya lands with a nice body punch.
Smash Ya moves away from the strike by Wilder.
Wilder lands the left hand.
Smash Ya takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Smash Ya uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wilder.
Smash Ya cracks Wilder with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Wilder looks to land a left hand but Smash Ya moved out of range nicely.
Smash Ya moves away from the strike by Wilder.
Smash Ya scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Smash Ya takes a swing at Wilder's ribcage but misses.
Nice jab there from Smash Ya.
Wilder is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wilder swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Smash Ya counters with a huge right that knocks Wilder out cold! Smash Ya is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
