Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Bravado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and rooie mano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eddie Bravado is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mano slips a jab from Bravado.
Bravado misses with a looping left.
mano leaves Bravado with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
mano avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

mano shoots in and bounces Bravado off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Bravado pulls mano in close to prevent any damage.
mano must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bravado throws an overhand right that lands on mano's shoulder, as mano tries to avoid the shot.

Bravado is staying active underneath mano, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

mano is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bravado is just riding it out for now. mano eventually gives up the hold.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now mano is on top in guard.

Bravado wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by mano, who protects the arm well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bravado moves into full mount!

Bravado goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now mano is on top in guard.

Bravado has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Bravado is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of mano's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take mano's back!
Bravado thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
mano tries to roll but Bravado sticks to his back.

Bravado is really struggling to control mano but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
mano turns into Bravado and is now in his guard.

mano drops back looking for a leg! Bravado is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bravado manages to kick mano off! mano jumps back into Bravado's guard.
Bravado is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Eddie Bravado.
