Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thom Le Bou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andreas Magic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Le Bou comes into the arena with in the Night Garden Theme Tune blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Thom Le Bou!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Andreas Magic!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magic throws a right and a left that Le Bou avoids nicely.
Le Bou slips under a jab from Magic.
Le Bou steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Magic.
Le Bou has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Magic waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Le Bou.
A looping hook to the body misses from Magic. Le Bou does a little dance to reset his feet.

Le Bou is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Magic's half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Magic is looking to improve his position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Magic is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Magic stands and throws Le Bou's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Le Bou tries to buck Magic off but Magic is having none of it.

Magic thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Magic tries to move to mount but Le Bou blocks the move with his legs.

You can see the frustration on Le Bou's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Magic looks up at the clock and then as Le Bou takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Magic smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Le Bou is looking for a sweep.

Magic trying to control the action but Le Bou is working from the bottom.
Le Bou struggling a bit here.

Magic is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Le Bou has escaped the position, nice work there.
Le Bou tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Magic wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Le Bou takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Magic works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Le Bou takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Le Bou tries to bench press Magic off him but Magic keeps the position.
Magic trying to control the action but Le Bou is working from the bottom.
Le Bou wants to control but Magic postures up.
Le Bou tries to buck Magic off but Magic is having none of it.
Magic lands a decent elbow from side control.
Le Bou is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Magic off and has taken his back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Magic's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Le Bou has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Magic's body.

Le Bou is hanging on to Magic's back as he tries to escape.
Le Bou is not going to allow Magic to sit and survive in this position.
Le Bou lands shots from the back.
Magic is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Le Bou off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Magic trying to control the action but Le Bou just sinks the hooks in.

I really don't envy Magic right now.
Le Bou lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Magic.
Magic manages to reverse the position and now he's in Le Bou's guard. Nice work there by Magic.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Le Bou is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Thom Le Bou has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andreas Magic.

Magic tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Le Bou is able to avoid easily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Le Bou manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Magic manages to get himself to full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Le Bou throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Magic stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Magic pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Le Bou back to the cage. Magic follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Magic looks to land a right hand but Le Bou moved out of range.
Magic shoots in for a takedown but Le Bou shows good takedown defense.
