The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woodstock throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Slipi throws a push kick but Woodstock slaps the foot to one side.
Woodstock scores with a hook to the body. Slipi takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Woodstock pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Woodstock throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Slipi.
Woodstock just misses with a punch to the body.

Peda Woodstock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A bone on bone clash there as Woodstock blocks the leg kick.

Slipi tries to clinch up.

Slipi tries to land knees in the clinch but Woodstock avoids the damage to the body.
Slipi is looking to break free of the clinch but Woodstock has double underhooks.
Woodstock creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Slipi misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Woodstock.
Slipi blocks the elbow strike.
Woodstock misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Woodstock on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Slipi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Slipi's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Woodstock connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Slipi scrambles back to his feet.
Woodstock keeps the fight on the outside.
Woodstock fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Woodstock pushes Slipi away with a front kick.
Slipi throws a sloppy head kick and Woodstock moves out of range easily.
Slipi takes a kick to the side of the head.
Woodstock thows a body shot but no joy.
Woodstock plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Slipi misses with a head kick.

Woodstock swats away the attempt to clinch by Slipi.

and Slipi counters by clinching up.

Woodstock lands an elbow inside that Slipi shrugs off.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Woodstock wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Woodstock creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Slipi's defenses.
Woodstock is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Slipi is defending well for now.
Slipi avoids a wild elbow strike from Woodstock.
Woodstock throws an elbow but it misses.
A frustrated look appears on Woodstock's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Slipi is looking to control Woodstock's arms but Woodstock gets an underhook and turns him. Now Slipi has his back to the cage.

Slipi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Woodstock lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Slipi throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Slipi throws a solid leg kick but Woodstock takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Slipi.
Woodstock is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Slipi rather than just go for the knockout.
Slipi takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Slipi misses with a two punch combination.
Slipi takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Slipi tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Woodstock avoids it.
Woodstock pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Woodstock lands an elbow that stopped Slipi in his tracks for a moment.
Woodstock lands a nice elbow.


Slipi is rocked!
Slipi blocks an elbow strike.
Oh Slipi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Slipi is pressed against the cage. Woodstock pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Slipi! Two more big strikes from Woodstock and Slipi crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
