Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Drew Corleone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Rezende (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corleone tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Rezende manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Corleone throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rezende plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Rezende swats away the attempt to clinch by Corleone.
Rezende throws a head kick but Corleone moves out of range.
Rezende misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rezende misses with a head kick.
Corleone fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Rezende misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rezende tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Corleone shoots in but Rezende avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Rezende throws a nice outside leg kick.

Corleone throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Rezende tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Corleone is in Rezende's guard.
Corleone tries to free his leg and advance position but Rezende is retaining full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Corleone tries to stand but Rezende is controlling from the bottom.
Corleone wants to control from the top but Rezende keeps moving.
Rezende controlling Corleone's posture.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Whack! Rezende lands a heavy head kick that drops Corleone. The ref tackles Rezende to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Corleone was done.
