The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manuel misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
houses darts in and clinches Manuel up against the cage.
houses has hold of one of Manuel's legs. Manuel is fighting the takedown attempt but houses gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Manuel is looking for a triangle but houses pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Manuel working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. houses doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. houses manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Manuel is looking to sinch up a triangle. houses throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Manuel's body to avoid the submission. Manuel has instead reached around houses's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Manuel arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
