Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Christian Willemoes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Beam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Willemoes closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Beam to the mat! Beam manages to get full guard.
Willemoes distracts Beam with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Beam looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Beam has his foot on Willemoes's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Willemoes works his way back into a safe position though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Willemoes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Willemoes stands and throws Beam's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Beam is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Beam is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Willemoes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Beam on the ground.
Willemoes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Beam keeps working.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Willemoes is just content to waste time from the top position. Beam takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Beam manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Willemoes manages to get himself to full guard.
Beam tries to free his leg and advance position but Willemoes is retaining full guard.
Willemoes is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Beam wants to pass the guard but Willemoes is keeping the position.

Beam thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Beam stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Willemoes swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Beam slips nicely into half guard.
Willemoes is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Beam seems to be working for a kimura but Willemoes defends the submission attempt.
Willemoes on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Willemoes tries to get out of the position.
Willemoes is looking to control Beam's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Willemoes avoid being mounted?

Beam is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Willemoes holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Willemoes shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Beam is trying to defend but Willemoes finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Beam has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Willemoes. Oh but Beam has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Willemoes goes limp - he's gone! Beam jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
