Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pat Sumrall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teppi Tarinashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Pat Sumrall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Teppi Tarinashi!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sumrall motions for Tarinashi to come forward. Sumrall throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sumrall. Tarinashi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sumrall tries to work over Tarinashi's front leg with a kick but Tarinashi checks it.
Sumrall lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Sumrall keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tarinashi.
Tarinashi misses with a looping left.
Sumrall misses with a head kick.
Tarinashi misses with an uppercut.
Sumrall tries to clinch up but Tarinashi circles away and keeps his distance.
Tarinashi fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tarinashi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Tarinashi misses with a wild combination.
Sumrall feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Tarinashi's calf.
Sumrall misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sumrall throws a head kick that Tarinashi semi-blocks.

Sumrall throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Tarinashi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sumrall.

It looks like Pat Sumrall has been cut.
Sumrall throws a series of punches but Tarinashi avoids them all with ease.
Tarinashi throws out a loose jab but Sumrall uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tarinashi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sumrall defends it nicely.

The fighters circling - Tarinashi throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Sumrall drives through and clinches with Tarinashi against the cage.
Sumrall creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Tarinashi's defenses.
Tarinashi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sumrall just stands there and leans against the cage.
Tarinashi is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sumrall pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Sumrall tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Tarinashi has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sumrall is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Tarinashi is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sumrall gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Sumrall gets through Tarinashi's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sumrall creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Sumrall pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Tarinashi blocks the elbow strike.
Sumrall lands a knee to the head.
Sumrall pushes Tarinashi back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Sumrall creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Sumrall throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Tarinashis head.

Tarinashi has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sumrall uses from the top position.
Sumrall throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sumrall is working Tarinashi over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Sumrall has gone for a leg lock! Tarinashi slips out almost immediately though and dives into Sumrall's guard.

Sumrall is looking to get back to full guard here but Tarinashi has managed to pass to side control instead.
Sumrall is desperately trying to improve his position but Tarinashi has a good base and remains in mount.
Sumrall has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sumrall is in a horrible position here. Tarinashi smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Tarinashi prevents Sumrall from getting the reversal.
Tarinashi has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Sumrall's face.
Tarinashi cracks Sumrall with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tarinashi has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Sumrall's face.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sumrall defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Tarinashi.
Sumrall tries to reverse the position but Tarinashi maintains control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tarinashi moves in looking to clinch but Sumrall pushes him off.
Tarinashi throws the left hand but Sumrall avoids the punch easily.
Sumrall throws a front kick aimed at Tarinashi's knee but Tarinashi avoids it well.

Nice straight punches there by Sumrall. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sumrall.

and Sumrall counters with an outside leg kick.
Sumrall throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Tarinashi counters with a one-two to the body.
Sumrall misses the jab.
Tarinashi misses with an uppercut.
Sumrall throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tarinashi's waist but Tarinashi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sumrall off to one side.

Sumrall lands with a shot to the body.
Tarinashi shoots in but Sumrall avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Pat Sumrall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Teppi Tarinashi.

Tarinashi dodges the punch combination from Sumrall.
Tarinashi might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Sumrall is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tarinashi.
Sumrall lands a jab to Tarinashi's midsection.

Tarinashi closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Sumrall is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tarinashi pulls his head out easily.
Sumrall tries to get to full guard but Tarinashi has control of the leg.
Tarinashi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sumrall keeps working.
Sumrall makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sumrall.

Sumrall is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Sumrall isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Tarinashi stacks Sumrall on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Tarinashi!
Sumrall takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Tarinashi cracks Sumrall with a big right hand but Sumrall just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Tarinashi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Sumrall is not content to let Tarinashi control the position.
Tarinashi is putting a hurting on Sumrall here, landing some big shots from side control.

Teppi Tarinashi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Sumrall doesn't manage to clinch there - Tarinashi circles away.
Sumrall throws a right and a left that Tarinashi avoids nicely.
Tarinashi missing with a left hand there. Sumrall was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Tarinashi on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
The crowd cheers as Sumrall lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tarinashi doesn't seem phased though.
Tarinashi throws a combination. Sumrall tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Sumrall staying out of range there.
Tarinashi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tarinashi looks for a takedown but Sumrall sprawls well.
Sumrall lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Tarinashi takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Tarinashi stuffs the takedown attempt from Sumrall. Sumrall gets slowly back to his feet.
Sumrall tries to close the distance and clinch but Tarinashi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Sumrall moves into the clinch successfully.
Sumrall scores with a hook to the body.
Tarinashi wants a takedown but no success here.
Sumrall tries a knee to the head but Tarinashi blocks it.
Tarinashi tries to score a body lock takedown but Sumrall shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Tarinashi has Sumrall pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Tarinashi pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Sumrall tumbling to the mat - Tarinashi dives into Sumrall's guard.

Sumrall has his foot on Tarinashi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tarinashi works his way back into a safe position though.
Tarinashi stands up over Sumrall, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Sumrall pushes a forearm under Tarinashi's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Tarinashi is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
