Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chester Beater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Jobber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chester Beater!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 69 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mr Jobber!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beater shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Beater showed some decent athleticism there.
Beater perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Beater winds up and cracks Jobber with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Beater is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Jobber is striking from the bottom but Beater uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.

Beater is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jobber has managed to free his arm - good work.

Beater stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Jobber to get to his feet.

Beater throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Jobber gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Beater to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Jobber should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Beater on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Beater tries to get out of the position.

Beater pushes Jobber off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Beater seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Beater ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Beater no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Beater is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Jobber is breathing heavily.

Jobber swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Beater wants the takedown. Jobber is fighting it off but Beater persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Jobber's guard against the cage.
Jobber will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Beater has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Beater works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Beater tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Beater has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Chester Beater overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Beater's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Beater.

Beater wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jobber, who protects the arm well.
Beater remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Beater thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Beater seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jobber for as long as he can get away with.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Beater has control of Jobber's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jobber regains control of the situation pretty easily.
