Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clint Kenelm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavier Rocco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rocco shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rocco was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Rocco cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rocco.

With the fighters up against the cage, Kenelm throws an elbow but misses.
Kenelm tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Rocco avoids it.

Rocco is trying to drag Kenelm to the mat but Kenelm just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Rocco turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Kenelm tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Kenelm wants to try and get back to his feet.

Kenelm is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Kenelm's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
