The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rezende displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Belfort.
A head kick misses from Rezende.
Belfort throws a shot to the body.
Belfort keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rezende.
Belfort wants to clinch.
Belfort misses with a double jab.
Rezende throws a head kick that Belfort semi-blocks.
Belfort checks a leg kick.
A big head kick from Rezende and Belfort is sent sprawling to the canvas!

Rezende loads up on a big left hand. Belfort felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Rezende looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Belfort can't hide his disappointment, as Rezende celebrates the victory.
