The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

silva really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

silva is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Khan's half guard.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Khan is looking for a sweep. silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Khan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but silva does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Khan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Khan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Khan tries to stand and escape but silva is controlling the position.

Khan is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
