Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Swift!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rick Robinson!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson wants to slow Swift down by chopping away at his legs.
Swift shoots in for a double leg but Robinson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Swift doesn't manage to clinch there - Robinson circles away.
Swift displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Robinson throws out the jab.
Swift cracks Robinson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Swift takes a swing at Robinson's ribcage but misses.
Robinson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Swift.
Swift shoots for a double leg takedown but Robinson sprawls well. He's pushed Swift's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Swift stalks Robinson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Robinson's face. Robinson staggers backwards, shaken.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Swift checks a leg kick.

Swift shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Robinson as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Swift. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Swift tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Robinson swivels and escapes.
The fight stays on the outside here - Swift looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A slow jab from Robinson misses its intended target.
Swift tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Robinson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Swift on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Robinson tries to work over Swift's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Robinson is pushing Swift up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Swift dodges the punch combination from Robinson.
Robinson lets loose with a powerful body kick. Swift will feel that in the morning.

and Robinson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Robinson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Swift has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Swift. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Well Robinson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
