Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Mercado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Benoit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mercado comes to the cage accompanied by CKY - Flesh Into Gear. Benoit has chosen Whatever - Our Lady Peace as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Chris Benoit enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mercado throws a hook to the side of Benoit's head but Benoit sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Benoit tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mercado sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Benoit somewhat.
Mercado misses with the combination.
Benoit blocks a jab.
Mercado throws the left hand but Benoit avoids the punch easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Benoit.
