Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rin Sadako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sadako shoots in but no luck this time.
Nice defenses there by Clarke.
Sadako pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Clarke shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Clarke showed some decent athleticism there.
Clarke wants to pass the guard but Sadako is defending well.
Clarke is nestled in close to Sadako, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Sadako is staying active underneath Clarke, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Sadako pushes Clarke off looking to stand but Clarke dives back in and keeps control.
Clarke has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Clarke in particular looking to stall.
