Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Jabface!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Robby Hatton!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatton paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Hatton lands with a good body shot.
Jabface walks into a jab.
Jabface will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jabface shoots in looking for a takedown but Hatton manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jabface's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Jabface lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hatton circles away quickly and effectively.
Jabface shoots in for a double leg but Hatton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Jabface. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jabface connects with a body shot that sends Hatton's belly button to the back.
Hatton fails to land with a series of punches.
Hatton looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Hatton works over Jabface's head and body with a nice combination.
Hatton misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hatton stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hatton wants it to stay on the feet.
Hatton cracks Jabface with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Hatton works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Hatton lands with a good body shot.
Hatton fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jabface on the side of the head.
Hatton misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jabface shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hatton pinned against the cage. Hatton gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jabface doesn't manage to clinch there - Hatton circles away.
Robby Hatton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hatton connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Hatton throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hatton lands a nice hook to Jabface's body. Jabface takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Jabface scores with a kick to the midsection.
Nice shot by Hatton.
Hatton lands a two punch combo.
Jabface takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hatton cracks a nice hook into Jabface's ribs.
Jabface missing with a left hand there. Hatton was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hatton lands a jab-cross combination.
Hatton throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hatton throws a looping overhand right but Jabface ducks down to avoid it.
Hatton misses with a series of wild punches.
Hatton looks gassed!
Jabface shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hatton as he avoids it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hatton fails to land with a series of punches.
Hatton thows a body shot but no joy.
Jabface tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hatton sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jabface somewhat.
A slapping leg kick lands for Jabface.
Hatton misses with a combination

and Jabface counters with a single leg into guard. Hatton didn't expect that.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hatton keeping moving, preventing Jabface from controlling successfully.
Jabface throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hatton works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Hatton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jabface. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jabface sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hatton's guard.
Hatton tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Jabface has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jabface breaks from Hatton's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Jabface working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Hatton turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Jabface off and cradles Hatton's limp body as Jabface celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Johnny Jabface!
