The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Contini lands the left hand.

Knight is trying hard to land a takedown here. Contini sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Contini lands with an overhand left.
Contini looks to land a combination but Knight avoids it well.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Knight.
Luciano Contini seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Knight fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Knight gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Contini.
Knight will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Contini digs a good body shot into Knight's ribs.
Contini swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Knight.

Knight shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Contini but Contini pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Knight takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A left lands for Contini.
Knight dives in and grabs Contini's left leg, looking for a takedown. Contini pushes down on Knight's head and hops out.
Knight has a takedown stuffed.
Knight is breathing heavily.
Knight tries to move into range but Contini moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Contini moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Knight is rocked!
Contini circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Knight to the canvas! Knight doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Contini keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
