The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Bomba fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sanchez has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bomba closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sanchez quickly recovers to half guard.

Bomba seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sanchez does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Sanchez has momentary wrist control but Bomba slips an elbow through the middle.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bomba gets to his feet and stands over Sanchez, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Sanchez felt that one! Bomba unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Sanchez from any more punishment!
