The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rosenthal lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Rosenthal tries to clinch up.

Leznar throws a low kick but Rosenthal avoids it.
Rosenthal swings for the body but Leznar moves out of range.

Rosenthal stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Leznar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rosenthal tries to avoid it but Leznar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rosenthal to the ground. Rosenthal escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Leznar takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Rosenthal throws a lazy right hand but Leznar sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Leznar seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rosenthal does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rosenthal can do anything to dispel that myth.

That was a close round but I would say that Schlock Leznar will probably get the nod.
