Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Demian Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Risto Korpisuo!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Korpisuo fails with the takedown.
Silva tried to score with a low kick but Korpisuo checks it.
Silva wants to clinch up but Korpisuo keeps it at a distance.
A nice leg kick lands there from Silva.
A solid body kick from Silva.
Korpisuo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Silva throws a leg kick which misses Korpisuo's front leg but catches the back leg as Korpisuo tries to avoid it.
Silva throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Korpisuo on the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Silva seems to be stalking Korpisuo here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Korpisuo drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
