Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Sarnavskiy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and nero sabu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). sabu has chosen The Enemy as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alexander Sarnavskiy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, nero sabu! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by sabu. Sarnavskiy shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. sabu defends it nicely. A momentary lapse in concentration from Sarnavskiy enables sabu to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sarnavskiy manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. sabu drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sarnavskiy dives on top into guard. Sarnavskiy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Sarnavskiy trying to control but sabu is working from the bottom. Sarnavskiy is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. sabu wants to stand and escape but Sarnavskiy is having none of it. Sarnavskiy passes sabu's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Sarnavskiy is trying to control. sabu wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Sarnavskiy controlling the pace. Sarnavskiy is looking for a kimura here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. sabu is trying to stand.
Sarnavskiy thows a huge punch but sabu dodges it nicely.
sabu is staying active underneath Sarnavskiy, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sarnavskiy is pressing down on sabu's thigh, looking to free his foot. sabu is holding on for now. Sarnavskiy trying to control the pace. Sarnavskiy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and sabu defends it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sarnavskiy is figuring out what he wants to do next. Sarnavskiy trying to control from sabu's half guard. sabu has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sarnavskiy sitting in guard, not really doing much. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sarnavskiy is defended easily by sabu. sabu shoots in for a takedown but Sarnavskiy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. sabu shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. sabu fails to land the takedown. Alexander Sarnavskiy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of nero sabu. Sarnavskiy lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as sabu backs up against the cage.

Horrible takedown by sabu or perhaps it was just good defense by Sarnavskiy which made him look bad. sabu on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Sarnavskiy. Sarnavskiy obviously looking to wear him down.
Sarnavskiy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and sabu counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by sabu. Sarnavskiy seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. sabu is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Sarnavskiy is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Sarnavskiy has escaped and now he's on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sarnavskiy slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. sabu keeping full guard, as Sarnavskiy tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sarnavskiy is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Sarnavskiy pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. sabu is keeping the position for now. Sarnavskiy controlling from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Sarnavskiy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down sabu for as long as he can get away with. Sarnavskiy has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sarnavskiy looks for a takedown but sabu sprawls well. sabu checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. sabu fails to land the takedown. sabu shoots in looking for a takedown. Sarnavskiy tries to sprawl out of it but sabu keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sarnavskiy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Sarnavskiy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? sabu is fending him off so far but Sarnavskiy persists. Nope, sabu circles away and we're back to standing. Sarnavskiy shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Sarnavskiy. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. sabu tries to clinch but Sarnavskiy is having none of it. Sarnavskiy shoots for a double leg takedown but sabu sprawls well. He's pushed Sarnavskiy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Sarnavskiy closes this distance looking for a takedown but sabu circles away. Both fighters are breathing heavily. sabu wants to clinch up but Sarnavskiy keeps it at a distance. sabu misses with a takedown and Sarnavskiy counters with a one-two to the body.

Sarnavskiy misses with a low kick. sabu fails miserably with a takedown attempt. sabu is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sarnavskiy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Sarnavskiy shoots in for a takedown but sabu shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Sarnavskiy closes this distance looking for a takedown but sabu circles away. sabu shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sarnavskiy pinned against the cage. Sarnavskiy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Sarnavskiy misses with a two punch combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Sarnavskiy shoots for a takedown but sabu saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. sabu fails with the takedown and Sarnavskiy counters with a low kick, right behind sabu 's knee. Sarnavskiy fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. sabu closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Sarnavskiy trying to hold on to sabu's head to control him but sabu postures up.
sabu is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sarnavskiy defends it well. sabu is looking for a kimura but Sarnavskiy is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for sabu to get the leverage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. sabu looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Sarnavskiy gets back to full guard.
sabu drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sarnavskiy dives on top into guard. Sarnavskiy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as sabu works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sarnavskiyis looking to pass into half guard but sabu pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now sabu is in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. sabu drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sarnavskiy looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sarnavskiy looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sarnavskiy! The strikes coming from Sarnavskiy are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alexander Sarnavskiy. Well Sarnavskiy has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
