Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Michel Rodalgo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pal Secam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Rodalgo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ace of Spades - By Motorhead. Secam has chosen System Of A Down - Chop Suey! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Michel Rodalgo has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Secam slips under a jab.
Nice sprawl there from Rodalgo as Secam shoots in.
Rodalgo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Secam.
Secam tries for a takedown but Rodalgo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Secam doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rodalgo loads up on a big right hand but Secam slips the punch.
The fighters circling - Rodalgo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Rodalgo jabs Secam to the body, keeping him at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rodalgo bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Secam's head backwards.

Secam shoots in looking for a takedown but Rodalgo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Secam's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Secam shoots in for a takedown but Rodalgo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Secam moves out of range as Rodalgo strikes.
Rodalgo thows a body shot but no joy.

Secam takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Rodalgo stuffs the takedown.
Rodalgo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Secam moves away.
Secam fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Secam looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rodalgo is fending him off so far but Secam persists. Nope, Rodalgo circles away and we're back to standing.

Rodalgo stuffs the takedown.
Rodalgo works Secam's body with a nice hook.
Secam takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Secam moves forwards but Rodalgo connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Nice straight punches there by Rodalgo. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Rodalgo.
Secam closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rodalgo circles away.

Rodalgo scores with a crisp jab that stopped Secam in his tracks.
Secam shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rodalgo defends it nicely.

Secam has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Rodalgo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Secam.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Rodalgo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Secam wants to improve his position but Rodalgo is controlling well.

Secam has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rodalgo is working away from the top position though.

Rodalgo looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Secam tries to roll over but Rodalgo keeps him under control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Secam tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Rodalgo has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Secam has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Secam is really stuck here.
Secam is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Secam breaks Rodalgo's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Rodalgo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Rodalgo is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Rodalgo!
