Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bjarne Sluggo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Kerr!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bjarne Sluggo!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kerr.
Kerr throws a big shot that misses.
Bjarne Sluggo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sluggo enables Kerr to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sluggo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Kerr trying to control the position from guard on top but Sluggo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kerr is in close to Sluggo's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Kerr looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Sluggo keeping moving, preventing Kerr from controlling successfully.
Sluggo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Kerr trying to control but Sluggo is working from the bottom.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Kerr passes Sluggo's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Kerr is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Sluggo is trying to get back to full guard.
Kerr works his way into side control.
Kerr controls the position.
Kerr trying to control the position but Sluggo is working away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sluggo can't do much from the bottom here.
Kerr wants to control but Sluggo is keeping him busy.
Kerr tries to score with some ground and pound. Sluggo controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Kerr controls the position from side control.
Sluggo is not content to let Kerr control the position.

Kerr tries for a kimura but Sluggo is defending well.
Sluggo is trying to control Kerr's posture but Kerr avoids it.
Sluggo dodges the ground and pound from Kerr.

Sluggo is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Kerr connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Sluggo some visible discomfort.
Sluggo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kerr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kerr tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kerr has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Sluggo is looking to regain half guard here but Kerr keeps moving and retains side control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kerr tries to score with some ground and pound. Sluggo controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mark Kerr dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Sluggo's corner calls for a 1-2. Sluggo obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.


It looks like Mark Kerr has been cut.
Nice uppercut lands for Sluggo. That snapped Kerr's head back.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A looping hook to the body misses from Sluggo. Kerr does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kerr shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sluggo defends it nicely.

Kerr closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kerr sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Sluggo defending well though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kerr is trying to control. Sluggo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Kerr stalling.
Sluggo trying to hold on to Kerr's head to control him but Kerr postures up.
Kerr controlling the action here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sluggo tries to roll over but Kerr keeps him under control.
Sluggo avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kerr.
Kerr sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Sluggo defending well though.
Sluggo is staying active underneath Kerr, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Kerr wants to pass to mount but Sluggo is defending the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Sluggo throws a hook but Kerr blocks it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kerr shoots for a takedown but Sluggo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jab by Sluggo.
Sluggo fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sluggo lands a big right hand that sends Kerr crashing to the mat! Sluggo stays standing though and waves Kerr back to his feet!
BOOM! Sluggo lands a beautiful left hook that drops Kerr. Kerr tries to recover but Sluggo is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Kerr lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bjarne Sluggo!
Bjarne Sluggo is the new super heavyweight champion!
