The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kostaja instigates a clinch.

Gonzaga wants a takedown.
Gonzaga tries to pull guard but Kostaja holds him up against the cage and eventually Gonzaga drops back down to his feet.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Gonzaga has eaten all the pies!

Kostaja breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Kostaja scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Gonzaga is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kostaja's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Gonzaga has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kostaja is working away from the top position though.

Gonzaga looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Gonzaga is looking for a sweep. Kostaja is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gonzaga is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Gonzaga wants to control but Kostaja passes into side.
Gonzaga is looking to reverse the position.

Gonzaga sneaks out the side door and pushes Kostaja away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Kostaja fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Gonzaga to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Gonzaga looks to clinch but Kostaja throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Gonzaga taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
