Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alex McTavish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Colby Sparrow!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by McTavish or perhaps it was just good defense by Sparrow which made him look bad.
Sparrow throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Alex McTavish has been cut.
Sparrow has his takedown stuffed

and McTavish decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sparrow's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McTavish won't allow Sparrow to get back to his feet.
McTavish slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

McTavish looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

and McTavish counters with a shoot takedown. Sparrow fights it but they end up in guard.
Alex McTavish has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Colby Sparrow.
McTavish is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McTavish drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sparrow looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sparrow looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sparrow!

McTavish is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Sparrow has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Sparrow is trying to get an arm triangle but McTavish is defending well.

Sparrow is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but McTavish is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Sparrow swings around for an armbar but McTavish sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Sparrow's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McTavish is looking for a sweep.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Sparrow swings around for an armbar but McTavish sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Sparrow's guard.
McTavish wants to pass the guard but Sparrow is keeping the position.
McTavish trying to control but Sparrow is working from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

McTavish drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McTavish jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Sparrow is looking for a triangle but McTavish pushes his legs off easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Colby Sparrow will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! McTavish's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

McTavish defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sparrow.

and Sparrow counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps McTavish thinking.

and Sparrow makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

McTavish darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Sparrow is looking for a sweep. McTavish is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Sparrow is looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
McTavish tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sparrow knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Sparrow has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for McTavish. Oh but Sparrow has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! McTavish goes limp - he's gone! Sparrow jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
