The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

lidell takes the fight into the clinch.
Kay lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of lidell backwards.

It looks like chuck lidell has been cut.
lidell looking for a takedown.
Kay pushes lidell back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Kay is looking to break free of the clinch but lidell has double underhooks.
Kay tries to break free but lidell pushes him back against the cage.

Kay breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kay tries to work over lidell's front leg with a kick but lidell checks it.
lidell throws a series of punches but Kay moves out of range.

Kay feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends lidell sprawling to the canvas! lidell rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kay finish him?!
lidell is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Kay doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! lidell crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in lidell's bad books for that mishap!
