Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Sone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sone tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hopkins swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Hopkins tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sone swivels and escapes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hopkins drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Hopkins drops back looking for a leg! Sone is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sone manages to kick Hopkins off! Hopkins jumps back into Sone's guard.
Sone is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hopkins is controlling him.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sone wants to control the position but Hopkins says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Hopkins keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Ben Hopkins has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Hopkins shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hopkins showed some decent athleticism there.
Sone tries to roll over but Hopkins keeps him under control.
