Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rudy Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rufus Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee has chosen Kick out the Jams by The MC5s as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from Lee.

Perry shoots in and gets a takedown into Lee's guard.
Lee working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Perry.
Lee preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Perry wants to pass the guard but Lee is keeping the position.
Perry thows a big elbow that misses.
Perry advances to half guard.
Lee blocking the ground and pound attempt from Perry.
Perry wants to free his trapped foot but Lee is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Perry throwing shots but Lee is blocking nicely.
Perry throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Perry is pressing down on Lee's thigh, looking to free his foot. Lee is holding on for now.
Perry sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lee defending well though.

Lee gets full guard.

Perry is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lee is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lee has escaped and now he's on top!
Perry wants to sweep but no luck.

Perry looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Lee passes into half guard.
Lee with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Perry wants to improve his position but Lee is controlling well.

Perry is controlling Lee's trapped leg to prevent Lee from advancing to side control.
Perry is trying to get back to full guard.
Perry is looking to control Lee's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Perry avoid being mounted?
Perry is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lee is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Rudy Perry has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Perry fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lee misses with a double jab.
Perry looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Perry.

Perry shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lee but Lee pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Perry fails with a takedown attempt.
Perry dives in and grabs Lee's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes down on Perry's head and hops out.
Lee thows a left - swing and a miss!
Rudy Perry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee misses with a low kick.
Perry looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lee is fending him off so far but Perry persists. Nope, Lee circles away and we're back to standing.
Lee clobbers Perry with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The fighters circle momentarily. Lee darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
No luck for Perry with that takedown attempt.
Perry is breathing heavily.
Perry closes the distance and clinches up with Lee, looking for a takedown. Perry pushes Lee against the cage but Lee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lee throws a nice looking combination but Perry bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Perry shoots in looking for a takedown. Lee tries to sprawl out of it but Perry keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lee manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A shot to the liver by Lee. Beautiful body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lee lands a nice hook to Perry's body. Perry takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Lee bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

It looks like Rudy Perry has been cut.
Lee moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A solid leg kick lands there for Lee.
Lee misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lee rushes Perry with punches - Perry moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Perry goes down! Lee follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
