The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Go dips to his left and cracks davis with an uppercut!
Go lands a slapping body shot.
davis just misses with a punch to the body.

davis tries to bum rush Go with a series of wild strikes but Go uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Go bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
davis is looking for a sweep.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Go is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt davis will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
davis tries to bench press Go off him but Go keeps the position.

Go has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
