Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Hosking (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Donelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hosking might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to War Machine. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Vincent Hosking!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joseph Donelly!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donelly will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Hosking tries to clinch but Donelly is having none of it.
Donelly throws a series of punches but Hosking moves out of range.

Hosking shoots for a double leg takedown but Donelly sprawls well. He's pushed Hosking's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Donelly tries to circle away but Hosking has him pinned against the cage.
Donelly is trying to push Hosking away but Hosking has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Hosking decides to pull guard.
Donelly wanted to stand there but Hosking had control of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hosking throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Hosking is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Donelly trying to stand up but can't free himself from Hosking's guard.
Hosking is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Donelly is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Hosking pulls Donelly in close to prevent any damage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hosking throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Donelly because Hosking loaded up on that one.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Hosking goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Donelly turns into him and now he's in Hosking's guard.
Donelly wants to stand but Hosking is controlling his posture from full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Donelly cracks Hosking with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Hosking looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Donelly finish him?


Hosking is rocked!
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Donelly moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Hosking! Donelly continues to tee off on Hosking, landing with a left and a right! Donelly connects with a right hand that leaves Hosking sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Donelly!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Joseph Donelly!
