Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksei Belov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aleksei Belov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belov shoots in looking for a takedown. dos Santos tries to sprawl out of it but Belov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. dos Santos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Belov.
dos Santos misses with a hook. Belov ducked under it nicely.
Belov tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Belov closes the distance and clinches up with dos Santos, looking for a takedown. Belov pushes dos Santos against the cage but dos Santos circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Belov bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

dos Santos is pushing Belov's head away, looking to escape. Belov manages to hold on to the position though.

Belov thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Belov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Belov has hold of dos Santos's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and dos Santos manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Belov swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and dos Santos is now in Belov's guard. A big mistake from Belov there, giving up the dominant position!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

dos Santos got a little sloppy there for a moment and Belov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, dos Santos has managed to get both his arms back between Belov's legs - danger averted.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Junior dos Santos will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Belov shoots for a double leg takedown but dos Santos sprawls well. He's pushed Belov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
