Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Mask (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferreira comes to the ring accompanied by Drop the World. Johnny Mask will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira lands a right hook to the body.
Mask will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mask fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ferreira manages to avoid it.
Mask is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mask throws a hook to the side of Ferreira's head but Ferreira sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ferreira is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Mask.
Ferreira takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Mask tries to sprawl but Ferreira drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Ferreira is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mask doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ferreira.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Ferreira throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Ferreira is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Mask has managed to free his arm - good work.
Ferreira works his way into side control.

Ferreira is trying to get an arm triangle but Mask is defending well.

Ferreira is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mask knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Mask really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ferreira. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ferreira is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mask is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Ferreira is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Mask is trying to escape and Ferreira transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Mask is forced to tap! Nice work there by Ferreira! Very nice indeed!
