The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Folarin gets caught flat footed, as Parchi shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Folarin looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Parchi passes into side control.
Parchi misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Parchi lands an elbow.
Parchi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Folarin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Parchi trying to control the position but Folarin is working away.
Folarin is looking for a sweep.
Folarin is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Parchi's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Parchi is keen to just control but Folarin is a slippery customer.

Folarin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Parchi defends well.
Parchi trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Folarin manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Folarin working some short elbows here. He postures up to throw some more ground and pound but Parchi slips a leg through to get back to half guard. Nice work.

Parchi is not content to let Folarin control the position.

Parchi kicks off Folarin and gets to his feet.

Folarin throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Parchi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Folarin is in Parchi's guard.
Folarin won't allow Parchi to get back to his feet.
Folarin throws a strike but Parchi rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Folarin looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Folarin throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Parchi escapes and throws Folarin's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Folarin works his way to full guard. Good work.
Folarin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Parchi's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Olubowale Folarin will probably get the nod.

Parchi walks into a stiff left hand from Folarin.
Folarin fails in his attempt to clinch.
Folarin lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Parchi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Parchi lands a nice shot to the head.
Folarin sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Folarin is looking to sinch up a triangle. Parchi throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Folarin's body to avoid the submission. Folarin has instead reached around Parchi's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Folarin arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
