The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rakennusmies is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Herberg.

Herberg moves into the clinch.
Rakennusmies throws a punch but it's blocked by Herberg.
Herberg tries for a takedown but Rakennusmies manages to get underhooks.
Rakennusmies misses with a short punch on the inside.

Herberg drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rakennusmies pulls his leg out and moves away.

Herberg has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Herberg cracks Rakennusmies with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Rakennusmies is bucking up trying to escape but Herberg cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Rakennusmies is desperately trying to improve his position but Herberg has a good base and remains in mount.
Rakennusmies really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Herberg lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Rakennusmies bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Rakennusmies is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Herberg working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rakennusmies doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rakennusmies manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Herberg is on top in guard.
