Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Garnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nucky Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garnett kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Till I Collapse. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aaron Garnett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Eddie Farnsworth and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garnett misses with a looping left.
Garnett throws out a loose jab but Thompson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Garnett swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Garnett misses with a few strikes there.
Garnett misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Thompson.
Garnett throws a one two combo.
Thompson tries a head kick but it misses.
Garnett waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Thompson.
Thompson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Garnett moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Thompson shoots for a takedown but Garnett saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Garnett misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Garnett lands a nice hook to Thompson's body. Thompson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Thompson has Garnett up against the cage in a clinch.

Garnett has hold of one of Thompson's legs. Thompson is fighting the takedown attempt but Garnett gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Thompson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Garnett gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Thompson working for a triangle but Garnett defends it easily.

Thompson has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Garnett is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Thompson.

Garnett has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

It looks like Nucky Thompson has been cut.
Thompson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Garnett throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Thompson is still on wobbly legs! Can Garnett finish him?
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Garnett engages and cracks Thompson with a massive lead left hook - Thompson tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Garnett is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
