The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Edson Gomes and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belfort blocks a head kick by Rezende.
Rezende throws a head kick but Belfort moves out of range.
Belfort avoids the head kick by Rezende.
Antonio Rezende seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Belfort closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Belfort has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Rezende.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
