The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krijic misses with a two punch combination.
Nayama closes this distance looking for a takedown but Krijic circles away.

Nayama closes the distance and clinches up with Krijic, looking for a takedown. Nayama pushes Krijic against the cage but Krijic circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Nayama is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Krijic is just riding it out for now. Nayama eventually gives up the hold.

Nayama seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Krijic does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Krijic is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Nayama wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Krijic, who protects the arm well.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nayama walks straight into a right hand from Krijic - that's dropped him! Krijic jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Nayama from any more punishment! Nayama complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
