The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punch lands a two punch combo.
Belleza bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Belleza throws a head kick that misses.
Belleza fails in his attempt to clinch.
Belleza shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Belleza moves out of range as Punch throws a body kick.
No luck for Belleza with that takedown attempt.
Punch looks to score with a jab to the body but Belleza is just out of range.
Belleza doesn't manage to clinch there - Punch circles away.
Belleza shoots in for a takedown but Punch shows good takedown defense.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Punch goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Punch will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Belleza takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Belleza tries to clinch up but Punch circles away and keeps his distance.
Punch connects with a nice looking jab.
Punch defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Belleza.
Punch works over Belleza's head and body with a nice combination.
Punch rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Belleza moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Morgan Punch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Belleza takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Belleza is breathing heavily.
Belleza tries to close the distance and clinch but Punch swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Punch defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Belleza.

Nice straight punches there by Punch. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Punch.
No joy there for Punch, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The crowd cheers as Punch lands an impressive looking overhand right. Belleza doesn't seem phased though.
Punch works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Punch misses with a low kick.
Punch throws a one two combo.
Punch misses with a kick to the body.
Punch throws a lazy head kick

and Belleza counters with a takedown into side control.
Belleza really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Belleza prevents Punch from escaping the position.

Punch tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Belleza wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Punch is pushing Belleza's head away, looking to escape. Belleza manages to hold on to the position though.
Punch is looking for a sweep.
Belleza trying to control the action but Punch is working from the bottom.
Belleza will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Punch throws Belleza to one side and escapes!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Punch stalks Belleza and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Belleza's face. Belleza staggers backwards, shaken.
Punch changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Punch lands an overhand right.
Belleza takes one to the chin there.
Belleza keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Nice sprawl there from Punch as Belleza shoots in.
Belleza on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Punch scores with a sloppy right hand. Belleza should have avoided that one.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Danga de danga de dang - Punch scores with a four punch combination!
Punch throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Belleza.
Belleza on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Morgan Punch dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Punch looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Punch, as that shot connected.
Belleza tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jab by Punch.
Punch throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Belleza stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Belleza takes one to the chin there.
Morgan Punch seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Belleza shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Belleza takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Punch connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Belleza is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Punch sends Belleza crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Punch is motioning to the referee to let Belleza up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Belleza is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Punch dances in with a quick combination. Belleza is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Punch snaps Belleza's head back. Belleza stumbles backwards against the cage. Punch steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Belleza's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Belleza just didn't come prepared.
